Installing fenders ... how to remove factory fenders ?

Going to install new fenders I got today. Question, how do the factory fenders come off? I know it sounds a bit dumb but I don’t want to yank on it and break something. Better safe than sorry.

Are you really talking fenders or the flairs around the wheel well? The front fenders are bolted on. The rear quarters, well those won’t come off easy unless you have a plasma cutter or saws all.
