Pretty decent review and a good test of the ‘23 Bronco Sport 2.0L model. It did seem like for most of the article he wanted the BS to fail but it handled itself well.

He did nail these aspects: “Its interior, meanwhile, is its greatest weakness. Especially at $46,400. The materials feel extremely cheap, the tech feels out of date, Apple CarPlay is wired, and the wireless charging pad works better as a phone heater than a phone charger.”
Right on about the interior. Especially at the current price point. Ford, how about Sync 4 like the Escape?

That just doesn't make any sense to me, either. Escape gets Sync 4, Bronco Sport is built on the same platform for more money and gets the older system with the smaller screen? I don't much care about the 360 camera but come on, Ford!

I don't believe the Escape got Sync 4 until 2024, and then only for certain trims. Has Ford announced details about the 2024 MY Bronco Sport yet?

The Escape does have Sync4. One option is a 13.2" screen.

Ah, 2023 MY was the first then. I suspect Ford will get there with the Bronco Sport as well. Let's see what happens with the 2024 MY.

I don't think it's happening in 2024.

When Ford redesigned the Escape/Sport platform the Sport was baked into the clean slate all new design. Its not like Ford took an Escape and slapped a boxy body on as an after thought. It was all baked in from the begining shorter wheel base etc.

Interesting that the test vehicle was the Heritage Limited which carries the (much) higher sticker. We paid 10k less for our regular Heritage and it is fantastic for what we use it for, which doesn’t include extreme off roading. Ski season snow and getting down the 2 mile road to the cabin year round is all the awd capability we need.
