How to stop my Badlands from "waking up" every time I open a door?

Is there any way to stop my Badlands from "waking up" every time I open a door. Dash comes alive... rocks transform into a bucking bronco... headlights come on (with fan) etc... seems like a lot of unnecessary activity when I just wanted to get my cell phone that I left on the passenger seat!

nature of the beast lol.
i will agree the headlight fans or whatever that turn on, are annoying especially camping at night, for like you say, just grabbing something out of the sport.
curious to see if there's a way to shut that off.

Yeah it can be annoying as hell. My Jeep does the same damn thing unless I have the doors off, so at least I have an easy solution for that vehicle.

Iā€™m going to change the ā€œrocks to Broncoā€ video into rotating clips from old John Wayne movies!

Does opening the back gate also wake up the dash?

I think I remember seeing something in FORScan to disable this, but not sure if it works.

Are the fans on the headlights really that loud? I've seen a number of posts about these fans. I've driven a few vehicles with LED lights, and rarely hear fans roaring in the background.

Welcome to modern vehicles. This is what they do. This behavior is also why I keep the Bronco on a trickle charge when I park it for 48+ hours. It also comes alive randomly to check itself and "report in" to the mothership, which also makes the headlights buzz. I remember reading somewhere that someone was able to locate the actual movie file that plays so there could be a hack method to disable or replace it, but there are no settings to do it.

Yup. Headlights, the whole works.
That will be a problem when I want to have the back open to use the CMS for a work area when I'm doing night photography.

Aww Op, Your Baby Bronc just wants to play~~~
Mines like my dog.
I walk by and her head pops up.
Your baby does this by design.
I happen to dig it.
Hey,,,,
I think Iā€™ll do a James Bond thing.
Iā€™ll run and slide across the hood beep beep the key fob as I land.
Open the door, hit start, Twist the dial to ā€˜Dā€™ and punch it !
And Iā€™ll do it before the rocks become the horse

I just checked my BL. Opened the tailgate, everything came on but went back off after a few minutes, only leaving the interior overheads on. That may still be a problem for photography. Good luck!
