Nice. I used to do this on my mustangs. Just get a bar bend it if it needed to fit around stuff now. I usually use two bolts on each mount so four in total but cool. Looks good.

The one thing though where the bolt goes through that's really long. Is there a reason that it needs to be that tall

Here is a pic from one of the first ones I made so it's not as good but basically what I did. Some I would actually do two bars that was before I started welding then I would cut a tab to weld to both like a c shape but either worked good.

That was one of the first mods I did to a vehicle besides some off-road stuff in highschool and that was the car that really got me into modifying my cars, that 2007, blue, V6, 4.slow mustang.

It’s only 4 inches tall, and I used a bolt 1/4 longer than factory, I was going to make one with two bolts on each side, I was rushed on time and need to take fuse box and over Flow tank out. To drill holes in shock towers. It does drive and handle better. I have braces on all my Mustang's

I must be misunderstanding something. Can you see where I circled those posts look like they're 2 or 3 in so if the bolt's only a quarter inch longer I don't see how it would be long enough
