We ordered a 2022 BS Badland through our local dealer on October 28, 2021. After constantly hounding the sales person every week (he seemed unable to easily send us a weekly text or email on status), we received a VIN number from the dealer on November 19 which we immediately entered it into Ford Vehicle Order Tracking and my Ford.com account which detailed the vehicle package and noted the order. Yesterday, the vehicle packaged disappeared from Ford Vehicle Order Tracking/Ford.com. After spending over an hour trying to contact someone using the Chat feature at Ford.com, I reached
Darrian who said "Vehicles ordered through the dealership will not be able to tracked through the Ford Owner account once they go into production. I see the primary order status of your vehicle is "In Order Processing", perhaps that is what happened. We would would advise contacting your purchasing Ford dealership to confirm if your vehicle has now gone into production, as we are unable to here at the Customer Relationship Center. We are only able to view the primary order status." Is this correct - is that the best Ford can do??
