The plus...makes me believe it's battery related? I'd assume some sort of electrical cover.

*Did you have any aftermarket electrical installs? Is it metal or plastic? LOOKS like the top (bottom?) Has small openings where feed wires might extend? Best guess I have. See if there are any exposed wires or terminals under there? I'll have to look next time I service oil.

Good catch. Cover for alternator positive post, maybe?

I would agree, looks like the positive cover side of the alternator. It’s hard to see from the top side but that’s what it appears to be.

I'll double check tomorrow, but I thought I looked there and it had a waterproof connection on the alternator.

Looks a lot like this! Don't know what it is, likely AC fill/test valve cover? Located passenger side, under hood, way up front. If needed I can post pictures from further back showing location better.

Does look similar but the OP has openings around the top and the one you show with AC components(?) Has a star fitting on top. The OP is stamped with a plus indicator. Definitely looks to be made/functions the same way? I'd bet the one you posted is also 13mm...but pics, it's just an observation

I agree, not exactly the same, but close. My 21 BL was built 12/20, so maybe minor change in a plastic part? Just trying to give ideas for places to look for missing plastic caps. :)

I agree completely. It's very similar in shape and I'd bet it's purpose is similar to whatever the OP has

Last time I was trying to follow up on this, the forum was down.
It's not from the accumulator, does not fit.
I would also think positive would be red on the car. I have all of the ac charging port covers.
I've put it in the glove box and kinda forgot about it till now.
