Has someone brought their bronco sport to Freeman Park in NC?

No, but you sparked a memory regarding driving in soft sand in North Carolina.

I pulled to the shoulder along the road on the east end of Ocracoke Island and promptly sank to the axles years ago while on my honeymoon. My first Outer Banks sand experience!

We took my friend's Ford Raptor and my Colorado ZR2 over it last summer. No issues in 4WD High with tires aired down. I never once got close to a scary moment with the ZR2.

With that said, the issue always comes down to the idiots on the beach that create huge ruts that everyone else has to bounce through. On the open sand (went on a day where the rest of the beach was empty and we could drive on the non-rutted part) - it was a total breeze.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Bronco Sport could do it with half-decent AT tires aired down and thats it.
