Has anyone added a custom subwoofer enclosure?

I'm trying to plan out an install with my local shop. I'm leaning to a custom enclosure on the drivers side with a JL 13TW5. I had one in my F-150 it was perfect

I’m looking to mount my spare to the roof or a swing out rack - that way I can free up space and later get a sub/sys installed. Hope it helps!

I actually installed the same speakers as the guy in the video. They are really great. I may have to steal his design for the sub box though, that's pretty ingenious.
