Getting out there

A big part of the decision to get my Bronco was to feel more confident getting out of the house and into nature. So far I've hiked several trails I wouldn't have felt comfortable driving my sedan to, driven the Obstruction Point road in Olympic National Park, and this week used the back end of the Sport (with the cargo management system shelf as a workspace) for yet another shot at astrophotography. Other than getting some red gels on the work lights (a mod I'm making soon) I think the experience was great. The results were pretty ok as well.

great pics! astrophotography is allot of fun ...and mainly is getting out there and enjoy the nature, well, at least for city folks like me where we have too much light pollution anywhere within 2 hrs of driving.

I haven’t done the camp/off road stuff yet. I did go out this weekend. Earlier today I passed thekingprawn on the road. I must say he has one nice looking Sport. I may be a bit biased. We basically have the same vehicle. When did you get the cross bars and which ones? They looked nice.

Huh. I was heading through the intersection at Safeway a little after 3 this afternoon. Heading to Silverdale. Saw a Velocity Blue Sport heading into Kingston. I assumed it was yours, but it could have been heading towards the ferry. Passed to fast to notice the driver. I just waved like normal and went on my way. Good thing I didn’t turn around and try to chat. Could have sworn it had cross bars.

Nice pic! I was in Stanwood today! Lol. The furthest south I have been this year. My husband bought a boat out of Kingston and it's currently in Stanwood until we bring it home.
