Garage door opener & sun visor from 2021 Escape Titanium : INSTALLED and CONFIRMED WORKING!

UPDATE:

Here is the link to an F-150 forum. While it's an F-150, the steps involved are similar to install a Homelink into a visor that does not have one initially.

You can buy any used visor with a Homelink, remove it, then install into your visor. They are plentiful on eBay for a variety of makes/models, as the Homelink itself was the same, just different visors. Maybe you will get lucky and find a visor for a bronco in your color, ready to go if you do not want to go through the removal/install process. Might be pricey that way though.

I just installed a 2000 - 2022 escape visor with homelink on my 2021 outer banks. As stated earlier, it wasn't available then. I think the color match is perfect. The replacement does have some dingy spots. They are currently un noticeable. As bjbena said, the escape visors don't extend as far when turned to face the door. This is the same as the 14 jeep patriot stock.

I spent under $100 and ordered from a salvage yard found on car-part.com.

Here are some pictures.

Programming was simple and I used the directions from the 2022 escape html manual.

Exellent find. As this poster shows, don't forget the boneyards. Lots of good used parts there, and as these BS's and comperable Ford models get onto the roads more and more, they will unfortunately arrive in boneyards due to bad accidents.
