From order to delivery - my timing

We ordered a obx sport on 8/30, window sticker 12/6, in production 12/9, built 12/12, arrived at dealer 1/14, can't remember when it shipped, so close to 5 months, hope this helps anyone waiting

I dont remember the shipping date, it went from Mexico to Romuals Michigan to east suburb of Cleveland, I think shipping was around a week to week and a half after built date

4 weeks is pretty typical from Hermosillo. Most of the delays lately are due to other issues, not the train ride. Either an issue with waiting to fix a recall issue or finding a truck to handle the “local” side of things. There was also a delay when there was an looming strike.

Tracking shows that my wife's BS is in AZ as of 1/11. No information in the field that should be the rail car number according to Ford marketing. Wonder if they're sent across the border and staged in a lot in AZ.

I think you're right about staging in AZ. Mine was built 1/09 and shipped out same as yours. Made it to the rail yard in Tucson the afternoon of 1/14 and has been sitting since.

My timeline was pretty similar. Ordered on 8/4, scheduled for production the first week of December, built on 12/11, and picked up on 1/11/23.

My process wasn't that bad. Just under four months. I ordered and was confirmed 10/04/22. Scheduled for Production 12/19/2022. Rescheduled for the week of 1/02/23. Built 1/10/23. Shipped 1/11/23. Delivered 1/24/23. Picked up 1/27/23.

Now I find out mine is most likely recalled. It was built 12/12/23 and 801 built 12/8 thru 12/16 are recalled for a damaged ABS module

I would love to know how Ford prioritizes orders. I also ordered (Heritage) in August and it’s scheduled to be built in March! Yet I see other forum users with the same spec/color already have theirs who ordered in October. How can that happen?
