Fordpass points?

Hi I just placed my order a week ago and have been looking at accessories. Many of you have mentioned Fordpass points. Is this something everyone gets for buying a new Ford? Or was it part of some promotion for early reservers? I don't want to start buying everything in cash if I can plan on spending points.

You should get 42000 points when you buy the vehicle and register it through the Ford Pass app. That equates to $210.

How was your oil change free? Did you use points for it and also get points back? Or do you have a Ford maintenance plan?

I bought mine on a Wednesday and the points appeared in my app that Friday. Sounds like timing can vary though.

Most dealers give you the first oil change free as a buyer perk.

the dealership i bought it at, has a plan of every second oil change is free. wooot!!

I would like it Ford matched Toyota, two years of free oil changes. But I've bought plenty of Fords without that.

I'm going to have go look and see what I want to use my points on.

I bought my BS last Saturday and my points still don’t show. They said it can take up to 39 days but I do hope they eventually come. I didn’t pre-order though. I wonder if that matters.

It took 2-3 weeks before mine showed up on my Ford App.

Just going to use them for oil changes.........

My 2006 Escape came with free oil changes for life. I’ll say, it’s been great.

I bought mine Tuesday, had the points show up in the app yesterday.
Might be because I've have had an account with Ford for years is why I got them so fast.

You actually do accrue points when you use points to pay for maintenance. I also received points for an oil change that I paid for with points which I found surprising.

My Dealer (Bayside Ford in King George, VA) gives you a year of free oil changes and free car washes!

Mine finally showed up! It took about 2 weeks but they are there now! Just now I need to see what I want to spend them on! ?
