Interesting info but Phone as a Key FordPass App feature is not currently supported for Bronco Sport vehicles:

If you currently use a device that runs on the Android 14 operating system and drive a Ford vehicle (which supports the Phone as a Key FordPass App feature), the Phone as a Key functionality in your FordPass app may currently be impaired,” the note – which was recently posted at Reddit – reads. “Due to a recent Android 14 software update, some users are unable to access and start their Ford vehicles using the Phone as a Key feature in their FordPass app. We are working on a solution with third parties…”

Is this something new for the Bronco Sport? I don't see that feature in the version of the FordPass app on my Android device.

I do not think Bronco Sports currently support the Phone as a Key FordPass App feature but I don’t have an Android phone so I don’t know if the latest FordPass App with Android 14 provides more features than for the iPhone.

I wonder if it is simply a matter of enabling the required PIDs using Forscan, and maybe removing and adding your vehicle from the FordPass app.

Or is there some additional hardware required?

Seems there are several pairing methods (BLE, NFC, UWB) from some of the PID options.

I tried changing the following PIDs, and removed and re-added my VIN to FordPass.

Digital Key Technology: NFC+BLE+UWB
Phone As A Key: Enabled

Was hoping to see a FordPass option to add my phone as a key.

After I jumped through some of the FordPass screens, the FordPass app displayed an Energy tab at the bottom and some greyed out buttons. Unless it's a bug in the FordPass app itself. I seem to recall seeing this in a prior FordPass app version.
