In post #58 with the NHTSA bulletin, page 4 say's they reviewed camera footage of the engine assembly process and determined there was a problem.

I would think that issue would have been addressed right then rather than after failures.

Correction: Ford used AI to review camera footage of the engine assembly process and determined there was a problem.

I find it hard to believe that a human(s) sat there and manually reviewed footage, but then this is Ford we are talking about. Not the brightest bulbs.

Mine is making a "grinding" type sound each time I make a slow right turn, sometimes left. My VIN didn't come up, but I'm curious what it could be. I'll take it in this week.

Good idea to have that clunking from the front end checked out

Based on Part 573 Safety Recall Report 26V340 posted earlier, Ford stated that Bronco Sports and Mavericks in-service (driven) for over 3 months aren’t part of the recall for the improper front lower control arm assembly issue

According to Ford’s bulletin a Bronco Sport or Maverick in service for over 3 months is not part of the recall

Transport Canada has issued the recall as well.

2026-259
According to Ford Canada, our '25 BSBB is not part of this recall but just to be sure I had a Ford dealer check the ball joints today and everything looked good .

Its probably a good idea for all BS owners to have this inspection done !

Cheers
