I have not subscribed to Ford connectivity. Everyone just uses their phones for music, games, navigation et al.
I already pay for unlimited data, It would be another bill that I don't need.

I haven't found a need for the Connectivity Package either, for the same reasons. I don't need Alexa, and through the use of my phone, I listen to audio streaming through my phone. I did activate it for my free year trial, and so it's not worth it.

However, I did renew the Navigation package as a backup. Luckily, I did, because this weekend, my Android Auto was not working. My phone was available for calls and audio, but it would not connect to AA, and thus, I did not have Google Maps. And since I don't use my phone during trips, I do not have any phone stands/holders. I ended up using the Sync navigation to get me to my destination. That was the exact reason I purchased it. For 99% of the year, I should be using AA, but for that 1%, I can accept the $79/year.

I know that is subjective, but here is the gist of my question. I just really looked at this because of the free year trial offer. However, I learned you have to subscribe first in order to get the free year. It does not tell me when I am allowed to cancel until I agree to subscribe. For example, am I committed to pay a year before I get a free year. Is it even worth the trouble? I would like to use it and then decide if I want to subscribe. What say you?
You don't get charged until the 1 year trial is up. You will emails letting you know several times within the last month of your trial letting you know that you will be billed for the next year. You can cancel at that time.

You will loose access to WiFi Hotspots, Navigation (on screen if you have it), Audio and Video Streaming.

Thanks for the reply. Probably the best answer I received. I now understand how the trial works, but I just don’t think there is anything about the package that interest me. Even for a free trial. I am going to pass. Thanks.
