I have a 2022 Bronco Sport that I purchased in Richmond in 2022. We have enjoyed driving it with 45,000 miles. The left front turn signal quit working. I called the Richmond Ford dealer and I was told I would have to purchase and have them install the entire light housing for a cost of $2800. This is ridiculous. Ford somehow decided that LED would never be a problem. Well it is. In Virginia I have to get a state inspection and it will fail unless I get this fixed. I can't afford this. Are there any suggestions?

Thanks
Ernie

Thanks. I found one on Amazon for $231, but something tells me it probably does not include everything. I will see what I can do.

May want to edit the title (if you can) to remove the VIN. Or just delete this thread as you posted another thread on the same topic, Cheers!

Talked to my local mechanic and he said he could do it for $2100. Probably do that. Does anyone think the old housing has any value?

It’s a sealed unit with a cooling fan I think (or maybe the cooling fan is on the outside of the housing I’m not sure)
Ask the mechanic but I don’t think the old housing has value.

You never know. Someone may value it for use in modifications, etc where they don't want to play with, or damage a good unit. I've done similar things in the past with damaged parts but served a useful purpose for me. Cheers!
