Political FUD aside, this is an entirely new and different model we're talking about that probably was never going to see the light of day in the US anyway. I doubt Ford would redesign the BS and shift manufacturing even further offshore. Also, "world" cars are rarely successful globally without major concessions made for each market.

And what exactly is a "subcompact Bronco SUV"? And a hybrid, no less. Not the Bronco or Bronco Sport. But it's supposed to share the C2 platform with the BS? I'm calling, well, BS.

There's lots of seemingly common models that never see the NA markets (I'm looking at you, Australia). Nothing new. Tariffs are just a strawman here.

Ford "Authority", my ass. They just regurgitated a low-confidence piece with zero attribution and added their own assumptions and spin.

The “chaotic” imposition of tariffs will certainly have an effect in manufacturers and trading partners. These production plans are made years in advance, even if Trump was gone tomorrow if who ever followed removed all tariffs the damage has been done.

Its ok we dont need more junk on the road anyway. Go tariff!! I own your bronco and it leaks coolant, rear end mess up battery issues . 2026 u would think by now we would have learned to make a car run with no problems until paid off. I know y we dont but u get my point

What is with the single letters, too much trouble to type out the word?

economy is in the dumpster, spending endlessly on an unnecessary-no- congress-approval war, gas in LA is $6.50/gal, inflation is up to 3.30%....worst president of my 42 years on earth

I'm buying a used Honda Ruckus (100 mpg) and parking the Bronco for now 😂

You missed the Carter years. Google "Misery Index" for '79-'80, it's a hoot.

I remember the "A & B Gas Days" (odd/even gas rationing) to buy fuel in California with multiple-hour waits in lines around the block for fillups in 1979. Then when we left California for Texas in 2022, diesel was over $7 a gallon and I had to fill up my 97 F250 with 38 gallons to start the trip (pulling a 31' fifthwheel). Cheers!

Then they'd run out when you were next in line.

14-18% home loans.
And inflation was 13.5%, unemployment at 7%. Ah, yes, the golden years, when I was a young married E-2 and qualified for food stamps.
