The reason why I never turn that on. I leave updates. Vehicle location etc. Turned off, always.
No data sharing from me.
My vehicle location is still Mexico.

You do this through the Fords Pass app?

In the BS settings you can toggle off the Ford Pass connection, location sharing, etc. It's a couple different settings but its done in the BS itself
Thank you.

Even if you toggle all the settings off, it doesn't mean Ford isn't still accessing the data from the vehicle. If law enforcement wanted the data from Ford your data is about as safe as anything in a Liberty safe.

What about your cell phone? It's the world we live in now.

There is an off switch, even though most people don’t know about it.

The only way around it is to go off the grid and live in the mountains somewhere without electronics.

Does your cell phone know where you are?

I’m pretty much a Luddite. I don’t enjoy the technology that is thrust upon me and choose to use it sparingly. That said, I do have a cell phone. Between that and new BS, and its connectivity, I have no illusions of privacy even with the minimal sharing I’ve selected. They’ll be coming for me!!! 🤣🤣

First, no pencil holder, now this. 😁
Here's where the pencil would come in handy; using its eraser to press the screen selections to turn off the Ford pass connection.

I was always under the impression that most people on this forum used and liked the Ford Pass app very much and used most of the features. Me, I mostly use it to check for recalls and my tire pressure.
