First I’ve seen ANYONE actually put this on outside of the marketing images from Ford accessories. Honestly, not a bad look. Listed in the accessory brochure at $399 MSRP.

Description:

F. HOOD SCOOP
Add an aggressive styling element with this Bronco Sport specific Hood Scoop.
• Contoured to the hood surface for an OE-quality fit
• Factory painted satin black, installs right out the box
• Manufactured using an over-molding technology that encapsulates high impact multi-layer ABS Plastic with elastomeric polyurethane
• Install ready, no-drill installation using 3M double-sided tape and 3M 540 adhesive
• Part Number: VM1PZ-16C630-A
• MSRP: $399.00

I want to do this scoop or a flat black vinyl on my Kodiak OB when it arrives to help with hood glare. Should look better than the black on black IMO.

I guess it looks cool, but it’s just a trim piece. More interested in someone doing a performance set up with a hood scoop for actual gains. Just my two cents.

Lol I’m guessing the Admin reposted this as it’s own thread. I didn’t emphasize quite that much... anyway, I completely agree with the comments that a functional scoop would be better, but as that’s not available currently, this is a nice option to consider for now. I’ve got a few months wait yet anyway.

I have not done any real mods just mudflaps and fitted floor mats and rear deck rubber.
I would only do functional or performance mods. But that's me.
The fake scoop looks great tho...

My point exactly. Everyone say all you want about it being dumb, I can meet you halfway and agree functionally. But it looks fantastic!

Figured I’d share the second photo from the original post. Again, not mine, just “borrowing” from FB. I’d really like to see more of a side profile shot, and another from inside the vehicle looking out the window.

I know this is a thread about the hood scoop. But, I've been looking all over for pics of a Sport with the low profile window deflectors found on Ford's accessories website. They look REALLY nice and I'm glad I decided to order them for my Alto Blue BL+BL that will be here next month!

Thanks for sharing...
