Fender Flare comparison pics?

Hi, waiting on my 22' grey big bend sport in the next week or 2. Looking through factory accessories I spot fender flares. Was curious if anyone has stock wheel lips vs factory flare comparison photos to share. Also aftermarket versions are welcome to as long as they don't require drilling. Mines coming with the 18" wheels, black, so I'm looking to keep the flares black not painted to keep the dark grey/black pattern flowing.

These are the Bushwacker Fender Flares. I did do some re-gluing of their internal supports to keep them flush to the BS Body. They also use Spring Clips to attach them to the Inside Fender Lip. (wholly inadequate) I lost the left front on the interstate one day. Bushwacker was NOT very responsive, but Ford took care of it. I have now attached ALL of mine with 3/16 Stainless Rivets. All in all, I’m very pleased now.

(wholly inadequate) I lost the left front on the interstate one day. Bushwacker was NOT very responsive, but Ford took care of it. I have now attached ALL of mine with 3/16 Stainless Rivets. All in all, I’m very pleased now.

Order mine from the factory for my wife's BS OB (dealer installed option). Without modifications to them they will not lay flush over time IMHO. From day one the driver side rear flare of my wife's had a 1/16" gap, drove me nuts but she loved them. They were on there from September thru start of January, removed because I did not want the salt laying behind them thru the winter. Was surprised how much dirt was up under there (she is a payment princess so it will never go off road). Doubtful they will ever go back on.
A coworker order a BS BL and after a year he had small gaps on everyone.
Buyer beware IMHO.

How much has that added weight from roof rack with gear and rear winch assembly compressed your suspension?

Have you lost some of the assistance from the shocks and coils on uneven surfaces?

Just made my decision easier, thank. I'm in idaho and they use everything possible to help with ice. Rust isn't optional here. Guess I'll pass on the ford ones.

I have a 2” lift on her and Off-Road a lot. I haven’t had any Handling or Clearance issues at all. She is very nimble and sure footed and if you choose your line appropriately she’ll go just about anywhere.

The winch is going to eventually end up on the front. I’m retrofitting a Bull Bar and receiver for it.

I retrofitted some Rock Sliders not long ago and am still at about 11” of Clearance.

You used the stainless steel rivets in place of the clips?. If possible can you take a pic?.

Following. I had Ford install my bushwhackers, and they only appear to have clipped in the first and last clips on each fender. I have a gap on them all and if pried off a bit I can actually see the full clips in the middle, clearly not clipped in at all.

I installed the Bushwacker flares on my BS. No issues to speak of with the install but I have heard others say there were gaps against the factory flares and the clips didn't makes the flares sit flush.

Has anyone tried the Rough Country flares? They are held on with an adhisive strip at the top and a clip on the botton. It seems like the nut and bolts are for show. I am tired of adhesive and suction cups for everything today. I am not sure I would want to drill a hole throught my fender, but it would stay on.
