I'm going to show my ignorance here but how does 7" width relate to the typical numbers given to tires when shopping, like LT245/65 R17. I believe 245 is not stock, but what is?

As an old professor of mine used to say: There's no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people.

7" refers to the width of the wheel between the wheel rims. 245 is the width of the tire tread. Wider wheels can accommodate wider tires. When you look at the specs for most tires they will list required wheel width.

OEM tires for all trims are 225 width. The Badlands has an option for a 235 width tire.

Did you weigh these yourself or did you find a data sheet somewhere? Trying to find out if there is anyway I can keep the same amount of unsprung mass if I decide to change wheels and tires. Thank you.
