Haven’t seen a post here about off-road trails to the Edge of the World.
Located here:

Posted thumbnail pics but those should provide a good idea of the Edge which any high clearance SUV can get to. A few rough patches but my ‘22 Badlands stayed in Normal mode the entire way.
Nearby ghost town is an added bonus. Hard to see in the pic but the two
on the parking curb say “HOTEL & ASYLUM PARKING ONLY”.
we did not venture out to the top of the rock formation - that requires using ropes (or ladders) to reach but we did hike out most of the way just not the scaling up rocks portion. The top center pic shows a guy that used ladders which his two buddies held for him but his two buddies didn’t climb up either. Not sure if they brought their own ladders but I think they did.
