I'm putting a list of stuff to get that I added on my '23 OBX. Also that insulated panel piece that installs under the glove compartment at the blower.

My 24 Badlands does not have that panel. It was deleted in a previous model year. Here is link to a long thread on the missing panel. anyone-else-missing-the-panel-under-the-dash-above-the-passenger-side-fuse-box-where-the-floor-air-ducts-are.5290 I thought about adding the part but I do not really hear any noise from under the glove compartment on my badlands so I am leaving it alone for now. You probably already have the part number but here is the part number for the part if you need it: M1PZ78046A25AA.

Thanks for the part#.
I was asking because I read someone here had both the insulator and panel piece on his '24 from the factory.
Do you or anyone have a part# for the hood insulator? There are two numbers and one ends with B and the other C.
I'm OCD. If it should have it, I want it. The most important deleted part is the pencil holder!!!!

Our 24 does have the under hood insulator but I had to add the side hood weather seals and swapped the upper cover under the glove box from our 21. Should've swapped the rear headrests but didn't know that also got deleted.

Very aggravating having to buy the things I bought already on the '23.

Hood insulation
Panel under dash
Redline struts
Caps for rear windshield defroster
Stubby antenna
Side hood weather seals
PENCIL HOLDER
I'm sure there will be other things
The JCR engine cover wouldn't have worked. I'm on the fence about buying another one but probably will pass for that $200.
I never thought I would buy another BS.

I hope the hood insulation at least is in the '24 I'm getting. I forgot about those hood side weatherstrips. The headrests would have been nice too. They are expensive.

I just looked through my old emails, I got mine on sale for like $30 from rival 4x4 but it looks like they're no longer selling them anymore. Maybe that's why they went on sale. I haven't installed them yet, they arrived a day or two after my wife got rear ended.

I think this is the part number for the hood insulation. Please verify
Hood Insulation Pad Insulator - Front
Part #: M1PZ16738B

Usage: 10/26/2020, BRONCO SPORT (C430N), With Noise Insulation Pack
Section: Insulators - Front

My 24 badlands came with the hood insulation but I added the side weather stripping after seeing it mentioned on the forum.

If your new BS Badlands does not have the under-hood insulation I would check with the parts dept before ordering it to see if it is listed under your VIN number. If it is there maybe the dealer will order it or tell you when it was deleted. Some on the forum have had luck getting the dealer to order parts that may have been deleted.

I wonder if you found a wrecked '21 someplace in a pick and pull, if you could get all that for, like, $50 instead of the ??$500?? from Ford.

How's the trunk insulation on a '23 - '25? Under the spare. My money is on gone.

I tell you, the hood seal is the most important missing thing. We have a Venue. It's a $20,000 car- so like 1/2 the price of a Bronco Sport. The build quality is excellent, way better than the Ford. But, it is also lacking a hood seal. It's not missing, Hyundai doesn't include it. Hey, it's a $20,000 machine, right? So I went to the good ol' big box hardware place and bought a roll of 1/4" "d" weather stripping in black and ran that stuff across the whole hood line. That sucker is SEALED. Used to be rain water would blow in and grime up the engine. I just did an oil change the other day, it's been 12 months since last one, and that engine is CLEAN. A year of wind, rain, ice, etc. The seal stops an incredible amount of cruddy water intrusion. So worst case for anyone, that could be the $10 fix. Well worth it just to look at the engine for fluid leaks and not have to peer through grime and de-icer stains.

I want to own this car long term. Long term will tell me if the car is capable of being what I consider long term- 20+ years of service. I have to say, I am scared 💩less about the availability of parts in another 5, 10 years from now. My '21 has a lot of rare equipment. If the HVAC goes out... think Ford is going to get me a part with temp on the dials? Uh uh! If another bonehead goes through the stop sign bordering my neighborhood (as 3/4 of the traffic does) and takes out the front end, am I going to get an engine cover again? Nope! How many times can I press the green LED ignition switch before I need the ugly newer unlit switch? Because #1 Ford made this stuff in extremely limited supply. Because #2 there has been an incredible run on parts by owners looking to complete their incomplete vehicles by buying up spare covers, panels and parts. Because #3 Ford keeps deleting the parts from new model years, revising and stripping down the build and then saying the parts are either superfluous or harmful to the car. e.g. "Traps heat and damages it", yeah, right, my 🍑! Flimsy excuse spread by online parrots. But they aren't producing more of these parts because of this. Heck, I already can't replace the OEM Falken tires because they already quit making them!!! Bad enough that if a window should break, my $1600 annual insurance won't replace it with a Ford part. My car is just another car built on a Wednesday assembly line, but these factors make it like owning some kind of prototype. Anyone that is into classic cars can tell you what a PITA it is to have a one-off machine you need to find parts on. If it's even possible, it costs a buttload of bills.
