The Bronco Sport is the first vehicle I've owned with the display screen. After driving to Tampa form my home I happened to touch the back of the screen assembly and noticed how hot it gets. As with any electronic device that stays on I know heat builds up. My question is for those that have experience with this and other vehicles with screens. How detrimental to the overall performance of the screen does the heat issue have? Should I turn the screen off for long trips? or just let it bake? Thanks

Let it bake. If it ever gets too hot to function, something is wrong and should be checked out. The display screen is an important core component of your vehicle. It should work every time your battery is activated and/or engine is running.
