Looking into upgrading my ditch lights and have really started to like the ssc2 pros. My question is, has anyone here installed diode dynamic lights? I see it has a backlight wire that people tap into existing wiring, which I don’t want to do. Could I just wire it to an empty slot on my auxiliary fuse box? Or could I hypothetically bring it to the same auxiliary fuse slot that I would run the lights to? I’m not necessarily hurting for space in the auxiliary fuse box but am curious. Thanks!

Or am I misunderstanding the wiring diagram/watching the wrong videos lol. According to their website site “method one” I just install the switch and everything’s good to go?

Update: now I’m curious how one would run this set up to an auxbeam? With 3 wires I’m assuming one hot to one slot and one hot to another? Bare with me everyone just having fun learning

Last update: I realize I’m talking to myself but for future potential readers. After some research I now fully understand what is to be done to connect ssc2’s to an auxbeam. Tie both lights positive wires into one fuses positive and both grounds to the same fuses negative. Than tie both lights’ backlight wire (blue) to a separate fuses positive. Be sure the fuse is rated for the light your running. For ssc2’s 10 amp will be plenty and the backlight 5 amp. Carry on
