Did some Forscan mods to the BB. All successful

Hi. Not working for me on my BS BL 2025. Will try to do it with forscan.

Here’s what I did, step by step:

1) Get in, push start button without foot on brake.
2) Press “Ok” until the seat belt message popped up.
3) Buckle seatbelt, green shows up
4) Unbuckle seatbelt, red shows up
5) Repeat buckling and unbuckling three more times
6) Seatbelt logo blinked three times

Yes, that’s correct. I did that exact procedure, and the red seatbelt indicator on the lower left side of the cluster did start blinking as expected.

However, even after that, I still get the warning chime when not wearing the seatbelt, and the warning message still appears in the center display of the cluster.

What worked for me was changing the “Seatbelt Warning Market” in IPC from USA to Europe in easy mode in FORScan…. Not sure how yours will show up.

Update: it worked!

After a lot of trial and error, what finally worked for me was:

• Exit the vehicle
• Lock it and let everything fully shut down
• Unlock it again
• Get back in and repeat your procedure

After that, the red seatbelt indicator on the lower left side of the cluster kept blinking, and now the vehicle still shows the “seatbelt not fastened” warning on the display, but the warning chime is gone.

So it seems like the full vehicle shutdown/reset was necessary in my case.

Auto high beam fade on and off is super cool. Adds a touch of luxury imo.

i also disabled seatbelt chimes as well as door chimes and double honk.

it’s been awhile since I messed with FORscan. Is there a place you can direct me to adjust the auto high beam?

@jki belive it's in the BCM folder. Labeled as AHB fade on, AHB fade off, and you can adjust the ramping time also. But I didn't change the parameters on mine just enabled.

I just did it in the simple mode, no altering hex digits. Simple mode with the on off yes no options for stuff.

Mine was successful, no issues. I think a lot of folks were changing the wrong parameter.

I run in Sport mode 90% of the time… that disables auto start/stop.

Mine's a '25. Auto S/S successfully disabled months ago.

I'm the one that started this post, mine is a 25 model Big Bend. Zero issues disabling auto start stop.

Just went and changed this. And the tilting mirrors. Will report back on if auto start / stop is disabled.

As was written in the post linked above, in my prior attempts, I was changing the wrong parameters. Fingers crossed.
