My father used to own a dealership. He had the choice whether to get his vehicles shipped by convoy (truck) or rail. Shipping by truck was more expensive but he always chose it because there was less damage. This was many years ago so I am not sure if the dealership can make the decision now.
Yea, so I just received my Window sticker Friday, and it says CONVOY. So probably it's a CONVOY to another rail location in Mexico?
Could be. But when a do a google satellite image of Mexico plant there is a rail yard right at the plant. So I would think they pull train cars right to plant load them up?
That's what I was thinking initially, but I've pulled up current dealer Sport Stickers in TX, NM and AZ (Tucson), Nogales)and they all say "RAIL".
Is there anyone else that had "CONVOY" on their first Window Sticker?
So, my Window Sticker updated today, and Convoy has updated to Rail! I guess they couldn't find "Bandit" to escort. I still don't know why it was Convoy at first.If it's Chicago, better hope it doesn't get jacked for the Chips!!!
