Not sure they even took the Sport off road for testing??? “Although its styling (and Ford’s marketing) might indicate otherwise, the Bronco Sport isn’t a true off-road capable model. It’s a car-based SUV sprinkled with styling elements that shout “adventure”.” CR gave the Sport an overall score of 60 with a road test score of 75. Maybe it’s time to cancel my subscription.

In this order:

SUV’s $25-35K

Subaru Forester 2.5L
Mazda CX-5 2.5L
Honda CRV 1.5T
Kia Sportage 2.4L
Nissan Rogue 2.5L
Chevrolet Equinox 1.5T
Toyota RAV4 2.5L
Vokswagen Tiguan 2.0T

Good I hope ppl start buying the yawn vehicles at the top of that list and we get better deals on Bronco Sports. But don't count on that happening any time soon.

Consumer reports is ok for reviewing toasters. I wouldn’t pay attention to anything they say about vehicles.

Why do people even read CR??? It’s nothing but paid advertising crap. Never a proper review of anything.
there was a time Consumer Reports provided indepth and valuable review of products. That was when I was in Junior High back in the 70s
