Take a look at mine , they are from factory and they are black , on a First Edition bronco .Trying to make my Bronco sport unique in my own way. I wanted to put vinyl over the front emblems but don’t know what colors would look good. Any ideas?
I was thinking about black but wasn’t sure how it would look, I actually like it ALOT! I’m putting black on the back emblems but was worried it wouldn’t look good in the front. The black wheels are part of the first edition package , but they are now available at Ford. IMO I think any thing that is black fits the color cactus gray .it works .
Okay yeah I’m definitely going with black. I like how the white looks like it outlines it. I have the black matte vinyl, just need to cut it tomorrow and put it on. Any chance you know the dimensions of those overlays?Black for sure. Here are the matte black vinyl overlays.
Me too! Some have used plasti-dip to completely black out the letters, but I like the white outline much better.
I do not know the dimensions as I bought mine on Etsy but I wanted to add to what you said about the outline. Not only does the outline look good but it is the best way to assure the longevity of the overlays. A full covering will peel from the edges but if you leave the outline, it will last for many more years.
I have thought about green on the back, like the shade of grass but wasn’t sure if I should do it in the front.
Go on Etsy and just look at all the shops selling the overlays and then read the reviews. Lots of people have pictures of all sorts of colors that give a good real life example. You can find pics of almost all the colors in the reviews.
FORD has some carbon fiber ones that look great. If you like the look Amazon has matching carbon fiber license plate frames and several interior additions in carbon fiber.
