Cleaning Engine Bay.

Did a little mudding today and the engine bay is no longer clean.

How do you go about cleaning the bay and what do you use?

Can anyone recommend a video to watch on how to clean the engine bay?

I found this one, but he doesn't clean the muddy vehicle in it.

Cleaned it today. Got it about 75% clean.

Very tedious. I could have probably spent another 2 hours on it. I sprayed where I could. But most of the cleaning was using a wet towel.

That was gonna be my guess as I was thinking to myself how could I clean this, as much of it can’t be just soaked with water? You made a very noticeable difference.

I bought some simple green to try next time I wash the vehicle. It has been recommended by several folks.
The manual that is link above doesn’t give a ton of instructions, but does say you can wash it.

Other instructions say to cover alternator and remove the battery. After that you can spray away.
I usually wash the BS once every two weeks. So the next I wash it I will try the simple green out. Unless I go mudding before then.
