Same always use Premium gas 91 octane on 25 bronco 1.5 and our 25 escape hybrid.
From Ford manual

For best overall vehicle and engine performance, premium fuel with an octane rating of 91 or higher is recommended. The performance gained by using premium fuel is most noticeable in hot weather as well as other conditions, for example when towing a trailer. See Towing a Trailer.
Do not be concerned if the engine sometimes knocks lightly. However, if the engine knocks heavily while using fuel with the recommended octane rating, contact an authorized dealer to prevent any engine damage.
We recommend Top Tier detergent gasolines, where available to help minimize engine deposits and maintain optimal vehicle and engine performance.

Do you mean the Techron additive?
If so, use is sparingly. The Complete Fuel System Cleaner should only be used twice per oil change because concentration of PEA (the good cleaner) is extremely high and can cause oil dilution. This isn't on the bottle, but is on Chevron's website. The regular stuff says to use every 1000 miles, but to me, it -- and I hate saying things like this -- feels like it might be too much if you go a full 10k between oil changes. Most cars suggest 5 or 6k so it seems as if more than that would risk the same problem.

There are some who have somehow come up with the ratio of using 2 ounces of complete every fillup... so only 1 ounce if you fill up when you're at half a tank. You'd need to go to bob is the oil guy and ask the people who do this how they figured out that amount.

I have used a bottle of the complete in the tank of gas before one my oil changes (only two so far) and if I had the 1.5 I'd at least be using a bottle for the tank of gas before each oil change as those are much more likely to have buildup. And then only using top tier gas as it has more cleaning agents, usually PEA, than the requirement.

To Unicorn: Excellent response. I just joined forum to advise it was not just premium gas.
