I've got a 2023 Bronco Sport Big Bend and it's been at the dealership since the end of last month end of June. Long story short the transmission needs to be replaced. I've been driving my mom's jeep since it's been at the dealership. I've got 97k miles on my bronco sport with no other major issues and luckily I bought the extended warranty. Warranty approved of the transmission 2 weeks ago and it's been a week already since the transmission has been ordered. I've read a lot of posts about how transmissions are on backorder but they are older posts. I did talk to my service advisor last week Friday he let me know they are waiting on the transmission. Do they usually take a few weeks to come in? Or should I be worried I'm not going to see my bronco sport for another month or two? Once I hit about 30 days without my vehicle do I need to escalate with a service manager? My service advisor has been keeping me updated so I don't want to get him in trouble with talking with a service manager.
