So my decked out BL that's being built 4/18 will get the price jacked up (unless the dealer honors the signed order)? Hmm...

  • Is that a typo for the Badlands? Seems like it might be $200 not $2000 to be consistent with the other trims.

You should have automatic price protection as your order sheet was received by Ford prior to 4/18. This will cover both the car price, and incentives that were available when you ordered (manufacturer credits, financing, etc.)

Keep a copy of the original signed order sheet and have the dealer run a “Smart Vincent” report if they fight you on either the car price or incentives.

Ford Video Guy (Long McArthur Ford) has a recent video on YouTube about how this works and the tools dealers have. Good luck!

Nope, says right at the bottom that you are price protected if you have an accepted order in by April 18th.

Got it. I read "accepted order" as taking delivery of the order.

Your good. I think that’s two or three increases since I ordered mine last fall. Glad not to have to worry about it. Hopefully you get yours soon.

Yes sir! Then the waiting game continues for my Super Duty. Ordered and confirmed early March but no VIN/production date yet. That could easily push to a '23MY now. What a time we're living in.

oh wow, well, even it is $2k increase....so many of us are sitting on at least $2k gain already :p only if they actually can build and deliver the car.

at least is not a shocker price increase like the Rivian...$20k!!

Man I am glad I locked in back in January. Mine is $38,675. Get a grand off for pre-order, put a grand down as deposit, and if it delivers after 5/5 I get x-plan. ( I am going to drag ass if it gets delivered a few days early and tell them I am out of town.) Allows me to hit discount date and get my current Benz priced for trade.

What exactly does "invoiced" mean? Was that the pricing sheet handed to me on the day of my order? Or would that be the window sticker when the vehicle is scheduled to be built? I've got no clue if I'm about to pay thousands more for my Badlands order or not.

This should curtail interest in the Bronco Sport. But maybe not. People seem to be walking around with lots of surplus spending money. Even video game releases are selling out in stores and then flooding eBay and Mercari... even for games that you can get in unlimited quantity on digital store fronts. Are they selling? They must be, or people wouldn't list them for 2x retail.

I think the vehicle was a pretty good price point 1 year ago, but this is not the only price increase, just the latest one. If mine was stripped on the missing '22 "features" and had an MSRP roughly $5,000 more (so far), I would have shopped a different vehicle in a different brand.

I guess timing is everything.

Yeah definitely makes me happy about pulling the trigger on a Badlands last October. The car market is becoming the new housing market.

Pull up your email from Ford and screen shot the Sticker they sent you when they assigned the VIN. It should already be priced out.
