Not finished but this is my current progress on a custom camp kitchen build for the bronco sport with room for a 2 dog crate

Really cool! I like your creativity. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

What's the green thing, is that a lightweight travel pet crate?

Cool! I love seeing stuff like this, for ideas. I don't have the creative mind so this stuff is great.

I just my dogs run smoke on top of the food bags when we travel. Saves time rather than using a cutting board!! (Joke)

Excellent creativity!!!!

Love it - and I'm planning on doing the same thing this winter in prep for next spring camping travels... So a couple of questions: I am planning on making a bed on top of that by adding a folding extension (moving both front seat forward and tilted). I am 5'10" and i fit with my GF as we have already rigged it a couple of times. But my concern is with the height of the drawers, will it be too cramped overhead? We don't mind crawling... I assume they are the depth of the space to the back of the backseats? Please keep sharing your pics!

The box is 36"x30"x9" and the drawers are 7" tall (2" extra to clear the lip at the end). There is another 25" till the top of the vehicle. The box could be made smaller but I had to have room for a double drawer setup for the sink and stove under it (still to be built)

First custom camping build I’ve seen on a BS. Nice work!

I have dreams of a fridge and microwave in the back of mine…I spend my work day on the road so buying lunch gets expensive.

Microwave is going to be tricky, given the rated output of the on-board inverter.

Adding a standalone LiFePO4 based inverter+battery bank feeding the microwave oven would be more viable, letting the bank (re)charge off the vehicle on-board source (either 12VDC or 120 VAC/400W).
