Described my issue as lurching and they were able to reproduce this in the shop.
Thank you! I really appreciate it. Hope your issue is solved! I'll request to take a test drive with their main tech they can confirm the issue on the spot.

From repair record:
Solenoids A and F were replaced, but the issue persisted, so the main control valve body was replaced, and an adaptive test was performed. The vehicle is now operating properly!!
Your response is exactly why I ask the questions on these forums before going in! And the service people have been thankful as well...

Thanks, appreciate your thoughts on this. I do give it some time but still a little slow. That's not my biggest issue. The "bucking" and shaking out of nowhere is concerning and not my first Bronco with issues. Ford had to repurchase my last big Bronco for many safety issues. My first one was a Sport with various problems. This is #3 and the last, I've spent way too many months of my life at Ford service. I really appreciate your advice, super helpful!
That's a bummer. I'm also in S CA. Did you buy all three from the same dealer? I have 53257 miles on my 22 badlands with 0 issues. I guess I got a unicorn. That's why even though the full size looks awesome, I don't want to risk issues. It's a Ford after all.
Lifetime GM owner no problems, first Ford and hoping to hit 200,000 like our other vehicles did easily but not holding my breath on it.

That's amazing!
I purchased at 3 different dealerships (whoever gave me a good deal) but use the same service dept so I know them well (sadly) and they've taken care of me. I know a lot of people with Sports and big Bronco's and I seem to be the only one with the issues. Ford should pay me to test drive these vehicles. For the big one, it was a 2023 Outer Banks with 4cyl engine. I loved it but had problems at 1K miles. it was lemon law'd. Endless issues starting with died a bunch of times, new cat, auto trans issues, never drove correctly and was becoming hazardous to drive. The 6 cyl seem to have fewer issues but ask all the service people you know, ask which cars are not getting repurchased by Ford. They will know. The issue with these cars, and any new cars, is they are all chips. It's impossible to diagnose without an engine light on. The old cars, they lift the hood and say oh here it is. Those days are long gone. My tow truck drivers (many this past year) told me to get an old Mazda and call it a day

Mine was bucking too. Ford found a transmission issue. They replaced some parts in the transmission and it’s much better now. Glad it’s under warranty but nervous that I will continue to have issues.
If you continue to have issues and Ford can't fix it, they have to buy it back. CA has the best lemon laws in the country so just keep that in mind if it keeps happening

Thanks Jenny. I want this bronco to work out but I feel like I should have gotten a Toyota (although the mpg would be worse). I wonder if you are allowed to get a different model with buyback program.

One would think so by reading this forum. While it's true that Chevrolets generally rank a bit higher than Fords on reliability, the difference isn't great by any means. (You can look around of Google for data if you're interested). I believe the overwhelming majority of Bronco Sport owners are quite happy with their vehicles, and do not experience maintenance problems at a level one might expect if your expectations were based solely on reading this forum.

I'm on multiple bronco pages, both full size and sport, the smaller engine trims seem to have the most issues. Or maybe the least experienced owners who like to complain. Toss up where that lands honestly.

People tend to post when they have a problem. When they're happy with their vehicle they're too busing driving to post. Unless you're a cantankerous old retired cuss... :)

There are some of those for sure. I do post on the pages about my adventures. There are a few of us who post our fun stuff and "hey did you know your vehicle does this" (like it has a bottle opener and the high setting on the seat warmer will fry your a$$). LMAO Then there are the "I"m on my way to my 3rd water pump on my POS" posts.

It's a process. if they buy it back, they'll pay you back for your payments and downpayment. They offer a crappy $1500 towards a new ford and you sign over the car. After that, do whatever you want. I was going to go Toyota also but because of my hassles a different Ford dealer offered me a sick deal on the Sport Badlands so I did it. I wasn't getting another Ford if it wasn't cheap. And now I know what to do if the problem doesn't get fixed (and so will you!) This badlands was recommended to me by service as the least problematic of them all, so....
