I was not thinking deep,, I was thinking water spraying up there.
I’ve had bigwater spots dried up all over my breather box.
I figured it sprayed up there some how.

Deep water will throw more water every where , so it doesn't have to be water over the hood .

Did you put it on a dyno before the swap & after , I'm curious on how much HP /T you gained & see if the MPG changed . I have used K&N on just about every car/truck /HD I have owned & really never saw a difference in any performance .

I will not be using one on the BS or my Sprinter , because its a diesel & not sure if they even make one for it . I will use factory type filters on both .

The k&n and other intakes aren’t going to do anything but give you sound. Unless you’re tuning, exhaust etc the whole works you aren’t gonna see any gains. You’ll see more dust in your motor though. The race vehicles running these get rebuilt and worked through frequently. The BS only when something breaks.

Yep DEEP puddles like 2 to
3 inches and water goes above the roof.

So I ended up removing the intake and putting the stock one back. The sounds and look was my favorite but there was just this slight drone inside the cab that I just couldn’t live with. Super easy install so I can switch back rather quickly. Should’ve spent the money on some h and r lift springs (which I’m ordering soon)
