Black Out Mods

I have been slowly blacking out everything I can. Started with the "Black Appearance" package which gave me black roof, black trim, black wheels, and special graphics. I have blacked out the side marker lights (LED too), rear marker lights, 3rd brake light, and tail lights. Tinted the windows, added low profile cross-bars, and vent visors. Also replaced my trim marker with a custom "Black Edition" badge I had custom made by Main Event Emblems. Attached some photos.

PS: Don't bother bugging me about laws and safety for the blacked out lights. What I have allows for the lights to be visible at 1000', which is what my state requires - it is all perfectly legal and safe.

Do you have any advice on installing the side marker lights? I have a set sitting in my garage because I can't manage to get the old one out of their socket. Trying to avoid taking the fender lining off, but may have to.

How did you blackout the 3rd brake light? Do you have a link to that part? I have the blacked out letting (front and back). Just waiting for warmer weather to install.

Looks really sharp. If you haven't yet Ford offers an official smoked Oval for the tailgate which I think would look really nice on your BS. I think they offer a black one, but not sure.

SWEET looking rig! I went (so far) with "murdering" the 3rd brake light which I got off the "jungle website". Would love to know where you purchased the front side markers. Wish I could get away with darker tint for the front doors but alas, I'm in NY and that's frowned upon

Did you consider getting black lug nuts or do you like the look of the silver ones?
