I had high quality paint protection film (PPF) installed by a great shop over the black piano plastic (and other areas) and there was no need to remove the swirl marks prior to the PPF. Can no longer see any swirl marks and no more occur.

there are many postings about do it yourself removing swirl marks using various products and if I had kept links I would send them your way. Maybe you could do a search for “swirl”?

A buffer with medium compound will get rid of the scratches in a jiffy.
