I'm starting this build journal to keep track of everything I'm doing and maybe give other people some ideas.
Here are my build specs:
2022 Badlands
Area 51
Tow Package
235/65/17 Wildpeak AT3 tires
The main item I've been working on is a drawer system for the back, the dimensions are 41x26x12. That should give me just enough room to put my recovery boards behind the drawers. The reason I chose this size is because it allows me to fit everything I need in the drawers including larger items like my stove & propane tanks and enough room for my cooler to sit on top.
it's not quite done but some progress pictures:
One side was designed to have a pull out work area and wide enough to fit my camping stove.
Tie down anchors for securing it, I did one on each corner:
I'm currently covering the top with a thin layer of rubber, not sure how much I'll like it but I can always remove and sand.
Next things on my list:
Cover the pull out work area in something fire resistant.
Building in some partitions to organize my camping and biking gear
Assemble and mount a smittybilt overland gen2 RTT (currently sitting in my garage)
