Finally got some extra storage for the Badlands this year for all our camping trips!!!

Took a while mulling over the choice of roof box or cargo basket but finally convinced myself to make the immature decision to go with what looks more gnarly ?

I should mention we haul a kayak trailer and also added a dual hitch to accommodate the bike rack and bikes I picked up this spring for cruising the provincial parks of Ontario.

So finding extra storage for our gear had to go up top.

The whole unit sits high up with the Badlands having a Sunroof but Im happy with it since i have to run suction cups to the front windshield for our SUV tent which wont be as hard to snake under.

Cant wait to hit Awenda Provincial park in a couple weeks!!!! ????

Is that a Redhorse you caught?

what size basket did you buy?
No it was a Lake Erie carp my wife caught catfishing lol Probably 35-40lbs of dumpster dolphin ?
Its a 46x36 at 5 inches high, came with a waterproof bag to match as well for a good deal ?

I once read that an Englishman brought carp to America because they were so good tasting. I'd love to have that recipe. I've tried eating a couple, and didn't care for it.

They were brought over as a food source from the European settlers but I think Ill stick to perch and walleye. Maybe one day Ill be adventurous ?‍♂?

The real truth of that tale is that the Brit in question was still incensed over the War of Independence, and hated America with a passion. He devised a plan to pollute our freshwater supplies and gain retribution.

The only problem was that he was dyslexic and intended to bring crap.
