Depends on how far down you press the accelerator pedal.
I can't get Into 8th gear unless I'm north of 65 mph and on level ground.
Eco mode shifts me sooner,
Sport shifts me farther up the tac.
It's very hard to count/feel some of the gear changes. I think 5th gear is direct drive, 6, 7, and 8th are all overdrives and close together. .,,, I think.

What are the RPMs at low load cruising speeds, say 70mph on a flat road.

About 2,000 at 70 for me,,, maybe 2,100 in 8th on level ground.. I think, been a while since I watched it

Gear 6 is the 1:1 gear and 7 and 8 are overdrive. I posted the gear ration page in another thread.
I was looking for that other thread, recalled seeing it. But this answers my question. Going to be off road and in the mountains next week as was wondering which gear was 1:1. Thanks for the info.
