I am constantly amazed at it's capability and how much can be fit in the back of it.I did two car camping trips. It was great for hauling all the gear.
There are very easy to set up, one person can do it very simply. Make sure you spend the extra $$$ on a good mattress. We've been using that mattress for years and it still holds true. Auto inflate and deflate via built in pump and car power adaptor. That is a cool set up. My and I are thinking about one of those tents as well. Are they a pain to set up in the bed of a the truck?
Thatās an awesome setup! Weāre hoping to buy a small trailer this upcoming summer to explore Canada with. Looking at the NuCamp Tag with the Bookdock Package. Iām looking forward to moving my camping stuff into a more permanent setup
There is a surprising amount of available space in the back of these small SUVs. 2 large totes, a cooler, duffel bag, air mattress, 2 camp chairs, 1 folding table, portable grill, 1 canopy, 1 dog, and 1 wife.
Boat is carried on the trailer and transferred to my BB to launch or pulled to launch with a modified kayak cart. Totes fit in lower section of trailer. I camp with everything including the kitchen sink.
Took my 21 Badlands camping alot this summer. Thought it looked good surrounded by nature!
I often go on extended canoe trips (Northern Canada). That's one of the reasons I immediately went with the Bronco (21 Outer Banks) because ... as opposed to ALL other smaller SUVs with their ridiculous slanting roofs ... has a straight roof ... and the canoe sits level, actually down in the front a bit ... even better. Unfortunately, I don't have a pic handy with the canoe on top, only one without and bars not installed yet. With the full-size spare tire, I also have a level cargo area without the step ... nice for sleeping on the trip to places. The power outlets and the flood lights at the back hatch are also great for camping. Also made an awning to fold out at the side.
