Pulled out of a parking lot today and had the backup sensors go off as normal and then when I looked at my screen a second later this was there and wouldn't go away unless I clicked out of it. Shut the car off a few times and each time I put the car on and went into reverse, it comes back and doesn't go away. It even stayed once when I shut the car off and didn't click out of it. Any ideas? Thanks.

What build of SYNC 3.4 do you currently have installed?
I guess it is whatever the latest version is. I had to bring my car in for a repair a few weeks ago and asked if they could update my sync but they checked and it was the current edition.

Is it maybe a malfunction of your backup camera? The car image typically overlays the backup camera image and will display car doors open, whether lights are on, and shows whether your parking assist sensors are working. If you only see the car image, that would be my guess. If you have a high-end OBDII scanner, you could turn the backup camera on and see if it sets any codes.

We need to know the build version.

Start vehicle
On center screen tap Settings
Scroll to Automatic Updates
Tap Automatic Updates
Tab View Current Software Versions

Looks to me like it MIGHT be the remnant of a software troubleshooting effort, and your last update got caught in the middle...

This might be a dumb question: But I assume you've rebooted (turned the Bronco off, and back on) at some point?
