I upgraded just the tire on the 18" wheel without a lift. 245/60/18 wildpeads a/t trails. I'll do the lift at a later time.

I plan to install a suspension lift kit on mine. I don't want to encounter any rubbing issues.

No rubbing at all. Actually drives great and looks good the way it is. Other than for aesthetics i dont really see a reason for a lift, although I do have one just havent put it on yet.

Ive only done tires as well. BFG KO2 255/55/18s No rubbing, and barely any difference in MPG.
