Hi everyone! I’m going to a music festival this year and want to bring some fun gummies. Was wondering if there are any spots in the car that are good to stash things in to avoid detection during potential vehicle searches from cops. I was thinking in the spare tire area, but not sure if that’s too obvious or not. Has anyone found any unique areas to hide things in their car?

Badlands models have under-seat storage below the right rear seat. If you don't have a Badlands model you'll have to get more creative. Depending on the size of the parcel, you can stuff it up under either of the front seats. There is a cross-bar toward the bottom front of the seat you can use as a sort of shelf. If the parcel is too small you can wrap it in newspaper to bulk it up and wedge it in.

Another option is to open the hood and place your parcel there. The hood cannot be opened from outside, and thieves are not likely to take the time to open the hood and look under there unless they're after engine parts. If you put anything under the hood make sure it can withstand high temps.

Thanks for the reply! Sorry, I should have clarified and will edit the post now, I basically need to hide it from the cops, not thieves, in case of a vehicle search.

Ah. If the cops believe they have probable cause to search your car then there is no safe hiding place. They will remove seats, panels, upholstery, etc., etc., etc. if they believe you have contraband. IMHO, your best bet is to avoid providing probable cause and never consent to a search. The video below purports to show how police are trained to search vehicles.

You can pull the ceiling down at the tailgate and tape whatever you’re hiding up inside and place ceiling back in place. When I routed my rear cam wire through it I was surprised at how easily you can access the void between the roof of the vehicle and the interior roof

Just put them in a Life Savers gummy back and close it up. Empty all the regular gummies out. Or a bag of bulk peach rings and mix them in. There are much better forums to ask this question in lol.

There is a plastic piece above your review mirror. It is easily detached and has the space you need. Should be easy to clip back in.

But, I see you’re in Illinois like me. If the festival is in Illinois, and you buy your gummies from a dispensary, don’t even worry about it. The cops will ask you if you are currently on them and then send you on your way.
