I just purchased an Outer Banks and found out after the fact that this model doesn't come with front tow hooks as does the Badlands. I live just north of North Carolina's Outer Banks and plan to do a lot of beach driving this summer. I have done some down there in the past and even with more capable off road vehicles there are times you get in soft sand and need a passerby to pull you out. I checked and parts does sell those hooks ($150 ea) but its not clear if they can be mounted to the Outer Banks frame. Has anyone installed tow hooks on their Bronco Sport models that are not already equipped with them?

Don’t know if anyone has done it yet, but I would be almost certain you can. It just attaches to a hole in the frame and a tab on the internal bumper. Definitely the same frame, and no reason for a different bumper.

A forum member took his off and painted them,

Not sure if the bumper has to come off, or if going in from the bottom would work.
