About 8 miles of sand driving north of Gearheart. The tide was coming in and pushing me up into softer and softer sand so I decided to not go any further. Started the day in Cannon Beach. The Bronco did great in the sand in Rally Mode with about 20psi in the tires. Mr. Tim was on copilot duty as usual.

My brother-in-law, lives in Beaverton. My wife and I were going to buy a house on the coast, anywhere from Lincoln City to Cannon Beach. Then Covid came and doubled the property values, so sad.

Love it there.

I live in Beaverton. We love gearhart beach, it's a great beach for razor clamming. Good to know BSBL runs well in soft sand. My 25 BSBL doesn't have rally mode.

Yes it does. Keep turning the dial, Rally is the last G.O.A.T mode. Mud/Ruts, Rock Crawl an Rally are exclusive to the Badands model.

My wife thinks it also involves me screaming, “Rally Mode” out the window

Are the tires at 20psi in this photo? I’ve not lowered mine yet but with the lack of rain creating deep, soft sand I plan to use 20 on my North Florida beaches.

That's a fun spot, where I typically go. I use Sand to go out the access point which gets pretty torn up. Then I go back to normal and turn off the trac control to go up the beach. I've taken it almost right up to the grass on the dunes but yeah, without airing down it feels a little sketchy to go that far up. You'll want to go down to about 12-15 if you go to the dunes on Florence or Sand Lake. and bring a shovel, inflator, strap and extinguisher and of course you need a permit down there.

Yes that’s with them at 20 psi. Visually it’s not that different

Very nice! I have a BSBS in Desert Sand as well. I'm trying to figure out what to use for a roof rack. What do you have on yours? I'm also interested in learning more about the light setup on your nudge bar. TIA
