There are many posts with opinions on how often to change fluids in:
PTU
RDU
Transmission
At least you will want to search for those posts, read through the Owners Manual sections on recommended fluid changes, and form your own opinion regarding how often to change these fluids based on your driving conditions and the environments where you do your driving.

That way you won’t be overly surprised if there is a “premature” failure.

I don’t have a trans shutter, but every so often, my rig fails to up shift. Might have something to do with the tune, not sure. I feed her the beans and she’ll shift. Only seems to happen in “normal “ mode, looking into a way to have eco mode the default
