Same issue on my '22 BL.My current map version is "2 20", and when I submit my VIN to the map update portal, I receive "InvalidModelYear(<2010)".

I have used my (home) wifi to make sure that all the (other) software is
up to date.
Sigh.

No mine is 21 and I didn’t know about the Ford Site so didn’t try there.JAD67428 … just curious do you have a 2021 or 2022? And did you happen to try your VIN using the website? Just curious if you have 2022 if the website to get the Nav update worked for you? (or for anyone else with a 2022 that has Nav who wants to chime in on this)

Updated my Badlands about a month ago, the download if free.... takes awhile. No mine is 21 and I didn’t know about the Ford Site so didn’t try there.
I purchased mine in Sept. of 21
Well I made sure I was on my Home Wi-Fi just in case and the update took my Bronco 45 minutes to complete.Yes.. sort of .. I have a 2022 Badlands with the 360+ with Navigation. The maps update website does not work (yet) for my 2022 VIN (reports the error that my VIN is earlier than a 2010 VIN). Ford is working on a website fix for that and meanwhile Ford sent me one USB Device for $0 (free because it’s been 4 weeks now that Ford has been working to get me the Nav update) but while that was the Nav 2 21 version, I get the LST_ERR05 “Possible cause: Map License file is missing from USB_SYNCMyRide folder”.
So Ford is having another USB device for my ESN (my vehicle) with the corrected license file but that was 10/12/2022 so don’t have it yet.
btw Ford did tell me the 60 minute install time might be more like 1.5 to 2 hours so take a long trip to install Nav 2 21 update.
Yes … if you have a 16GByte or larger USB Device you can use the provided website to download the Nav update (Navigation Maps Version NA 2 21 is the current available version). No mine is 21 and I didn’t know about the Ford Site so didn’t try there.

You will have to check the Nav (and SYNC3) for latest versions. You can use the provided website to do that. You can use the SYNC3 Settings to install (or check for) latest SYNC Software but you cannot update the Nav software from that Settings screen.I have a '23 Outer Banks scheduled to be built in November. It will be built with Co-pilot 360+. Should I assume, this will have the newest version of maps?
