3 piece hood graphics installed (from Underground Graphics)

I installed my Underground Graphics hood glare elimination kit…it’s raining, so I haven’t had a chance to test it out.
The center decal really needs either a helper or a person more experienced than myself to really get it right - there were a ton of bubbles…I got them all flattened and I am 95% satisfied with how it turned out…a few imperfections, but overall probably not too noticeable.

I drove into the rising sun this morning, and 95% of the glare is eliminated - there is a slight bit from the far RH side of the hood at certain angles, but all of the really distracting glare is gone, huge absolutely huge improvement.

Exactly what I was thinking and experiencing. I was going to cover the whole hood in matte black.

Exactly what I was thinking and experiencing. I was going to cover the whole hood in matte black.

I found that the outer flat sections still picked up a ton of glare - I had a couple more pieces made to address that. This eliminates most of the glare. The raised areas between the three original pieces, and the slight raised area on the LH/RH outer edges of the hood - all of that is still problematic under the right conditions - like driving into the setting sun. I am tempted to have some flat black pieces made for that area.

Underground Graphics made this stuff - it is a top-notch product. They said that initially, they attempted a full wrap for the hood - one solid piece to cover everything. They said that there are too many weird angles on this hood, and it wasn't really a feasible option.
